The San Francisco La Prensa Cultural Center hosted the Sueña Carabanchel forum this Wednesday, a meeting that brought together experts, universities, and residents to discuss the district's urban development.

The event, promoted by the District Municipal Board in collaboration with academic institutions such as the Official College of Architects of Madrid and the Complutense University, served as a meeting point to analyze the transformation of the urban environment. Key topics discussed included contemporary architecture, the quality of public spaces, and the role of artistic practices as a driver for revitalization in metropolitan areas.
The forum is part of the Distrito 11 cultural project and marks the conclusion of the exhibition Meta 2050: Architectural dreams for the Carabanchel of the future. This exhibition, which has been open to the public for the past month, offered a forward-looking vision of how the urban fabric of this area of Madrid could evolve in the coming decades.

"In recent years, Carabanchel has undergone a significant transformation linked to the establishment of artist studios, cultural spaces, and architectural projects that have made it one of the most relevant emerging hubs in Madrid."
