A self-loading crane truck collided this Saturday with a pedestrian overpass crossing the M-500, near the Club de Campo in Madrid, causing one minor injury.

The incident occurred around 1:30 PM. One of the three occupants of the vehicle sustained several contusions and was attended by Samur-Civil Protection before being transferred to the San Carlos Clinical Hospital.
Madrid City Firefighters performed a complex maneuver to remove the crane's boom, which was carrying construction materials. The operation required dismantling road elements and using a heavy-duty crane.
Following the impact, the pedestrian overpass has been sealed off and declared unsafe for use after being secured by the fire brigade.
The Madrid Municipal Police has initiated the relevant investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident.
