The Community of Madrid presents BORDE[R], a stage production by Cía. del Sr. Smith that delves into the limits of the body, sanity, representability, and individualism in the current context. The play, directed by Pedro Casas, is the second installment of the Trilogy of Uncertainty.
The plot unfolds in a Citizen Service Office where six strangers become involved in a physical fight over a trivial matter. Amidst the chaos, the personal stories that have led each character to this senseless situation are revealed.
“"It is a participatory artifact that facilitates immersion in the problem of what our limits are and what responsibility they entail."
A distinctive feature of BORDE[R] is its interactive nature. The audience has the opportunity to stop the scene if they find the actions or situations difficult to digest, thereby highlighting the complexity of knowing and assuming our own limits and responsibilities.
The play features performances by Marta Pons, Luna Mayo, Tania Medina, Jorge Vidal, Ivan Serrano, and Asier Iturriaga. Stage direction is by Pedro Casas, with assistant direction by Gala Martínez-Romero.
Performances will be held with a reduced capacity of 100 seats. Tickets cost €8, with reduced prices of €6 for seniors, youth card holders, the unemployed, and large families.
