Blow to Drug Trafficking in Madrid: 31 Arrested, 12 Sales Points Dismantled

The National Police has seized over six kilograms of narcotics and 42,000 euros in an operation spanning several municipalities and districts of the Community of Madrid.

The National Police has conducted a significant anti-drug trafficking operation in the Community of Madrid, dismantling 12 drug sales points and arresting 31 individuals involved in public health offenses and illegal weapons possession.

As part of these actions, over six kilograms of various narcotic substances were seized, including cocaine, ketamine, tussi, marijuana, and hashish. Additionally, 42,000 euros in cash, a shotgun, a revolver, bladed weapons, mobile phones, perfumes, and an electric scooter used for drug transport were confiscated.
Among the highlighted cases, on February 12, a sales point in Parla was dismantled, where cocaine, marijuana, and distribution materials were found, along with 1,000 euros in cash. Five people were arrested in this operation. Subsequently, on March 19, in Fuenlabrada, another drug sales point was dismantled where those involved coordinated deliveries via an instant messaging application, leading to the arrest of two men and the seizure of half a kilo of hashish and marijuana.
In Móstoles, on March 23, the police acted in a dwelling where drugs were offered in exchange for sexual favors, arresting four men. In Torrejón de Ardoz, near children's areas, another sales point was dismantled on March 24, with the arrest of one man and the seizure of hashish, marijuana, and bladed weapons. In Ciudad Lineal, on February 25, a man using an electric scooter for drug deliveries was arrested, with cocaine and over 4,000 euros seized.
In the Tetuán district, on February 23, three simultaneous searches were carried out in the same building, resulting in the arrest of eight men and the seizure of 100 grams of cocaine and ketamine. The investigated individuals used the apartments as a distribution and consumption center, with one dwelling functioning as a consumption site to prevent buyers from leaving the building with the substances. In Villa de Vallecas, an investigation initiated in May 2025 culminated on February 11 with the search of a dwelling containing a marijuana plantation, where weapons, money, and protected birds were found, leading to the arrest of a man and a woman.
Finally, on March 13, in Carabanchel, over six kilograms of drugs and 13 liters of chemical products were located, with six men arrested. On March 26, in Pozuelo de Alarcón, in collaboration with the Local Police, a marijuana plantation in a basement was dismantled, leading to the arrest of one man. During the first three months of 2026, the Superior Police Headquarters of Madrid has dismantled a total of 64 drug sales points and arrested 97 people involved in these activities.
