The highly anticipated musical residency of Bad Bunny in Madrid commences this Saturday, May 30th, at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano. The artist will perform a total of ten shows until June 15th, featuring songs from his album ‘Debí tirar más fotos’ and hits like ‘Baile inolvidable’ or ‘Nueva Yol’, which have become major draws for his tour.
The singer's arrival is notably boosting activity in Madrid's hospitality sector. According to data from TheFork, neighborhoods such as Malasaña, Chueca, and Tribunal are seeing an increase in reservations, accounting for 10 percent of the total with an average ticket price of 26 euros. Other areas like Las Letras, Atocha/Jerónimos, and Lavapiés are also experiencing significant growth.
Estimates from Hostelería Madrid suggest that Bad Bunny's stay in the capital could generate between 14 and 28 million euros for bars, restaurants, and cafes. A total attendance of 500,000 people is expected, with approximately 40 percent coming from outside the Community of Madrid, and an estimated daily spending per attendee ranging from 20 to 40 euros.
Following the concerts, several city venues have organized events to extend the Latin music experience. Spaces like Florida Park in El Retiro Park, Fitz Madrid, Sala El Sol, Shôko, and Uñas Chung Lee will host parties and sessions linked to the tour's atmosphere.
To ensure safety and mobility, the Madrid City Council will deploy around 75 Municipal Police officers in the stadium's vicinity. Deputy Mayor Inma Sanz has stated that the operation will include the use of drones and will be adapted based on experience.
Metro de Madrid will reinforce the service on Line 7 between Hospital del Henares and Pitis throughout this weekend to facilitate attendees' travel to the stadium. The reinforcement will begin at 6:00 PM on Saturday and will intensify at the end of the concerts. The closest stations to the Riyadh Air Metropolitano are Estadio Metropolitano (Line 7), Las Rosas (Line 2), and Canillejas (Line 5).
