A group of hooded individuals robbed a jewelry store at the La Vaguada shopping center in the Fuencarral-El Pardo district this Tuesday evening, firing shots during the incident.

The event took place around 9:00 PM on June 2nd. Three individuals wearing sportswear and face coverings entered the shopping center and headed straight for the jewelry store. After threatening employees with firearms, the suspects managed to seize various valuable items in less than two minutes.
Although there were no injuries from gunfire, emergency services had to attend to an employee suffering from an anxiety attack. The incident caused significant tension within the shopping center, forcing nearby businesses to lower their shutters and lock their customers inside for safety.
The perpetrators fled the scene in a blue vehicle where a fourth accomplice was waiting. Despite a pursuit by the National Police, the suspects managed to evade officers in the Villa de Vallecas area. Authorities have launched an active search operation to locate the individuals involved.
This incident is the fourth such robbery reported in the Community of Madrid over the past three weeks. Investigators are currently working to determine if there is a link between this robbery and other violent heists recently carried out at jewelry and gold-buying stores across the region.
