A man has been arrested in the Carabanchel district of Madrid for an alleged public health offense, after being intercepted by the National Police while attempting to discard two packages of cocaine during an electric scooter chase.

The incident occurred on April 10 in Carabanchel, when officers from the Operational Response Group (GOR) observed an individual riding an electric scooter at high speed. His reckless driving endangered other road users and he ignored police instructions, according to an official statement.
Faced with this situation, officers initiated a pursuit. During the chase, the suspect threw two packages onto the public road and attempted to enter a residence. However, swift police intervention led to his interception before he could escape, and the packages were recovered.

"Officers managed to intercept him beforehand, and also recovered the two packages, which were confirmed to contain two kilograms of cocaine."
