The intense heat episode will remain active from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. During this period, thermometers are expected to reach 39 degrees in the Metropolitan area, Henares, and the South, Vegas, and West districts.
In the Sierra area, temperatures will be slightly lower, with maximum values of 37 degrees. In Madrid capital, temperatures are expected to range between 22 and 39 degrees.
Other towns such as Alcalá de Henares and Aranjuez could reach 40 degrees, while Collado Villalba is expected to see highs of 38 degrees. Meanwhile, Getafe and Navalcarnero will record values of up to 39 degrees.
This extreme heat situation affects nine autonomous communities across the country. However, the weather forecast points to greater stability for Sunday, with clear skies or high clouds across the Peninsula.
