The application process for in-person Vocational Training in the Community of Madrid for the 2026/27 academic year is now open. Aspiring students for the Basic Grade must submit their documentation between June 19th and 26th. For the Intermediate Grade, the designated period will be from June 22nd to 29th.
Those interested in accessing the Advanced Grade will have an application window from June 25th to July 2nd. Subsequently, registrations for virtual and blended mode training cycles, for both Intermediate and Advanced Grade, will take place from September 1st to 7th. The specialization courses and programs for both grades will have their registration period from September 2nd to 7th.
The submission of all applications will be done online through the educational centers' virtual secretariat. For detailed information on specific deadlines, available centers, and the various training programs, it is recommended to consult the link provided by the Community of Madrid.
The educational offering in the region includes a total of 147 FP cycles, divided into Basic Grade (19), Intermediate Grade (41), and Advanced Grade (87). These programs are distributed across 22 professional families, designed to facilitate employment. The network of public centers dedicated to FP in Madrid consists of 178 institutions, including 37 specialized Secondary Education Institutes, six Integrated Vocational Training Centers (CIFP), and one institute exclusively focused on FP.
Additionally, the offering is complemented by 15 specialization courses and two additional programs offered in public centers. There are also 12 professional programs available through ten Training and Employment Insertion Units (UFIL), aimed at young people between 16 and 19 years old seeking a second educational opportunity after not having obtained their ESO or FP qualification.
