Sol station, a central hub for Metro and Cercanías in Madrid, will restrict access this Saturday starting at 6:30 PM to prevent overcrowding during the MADO 2026 festivities.

According to information provided by Renfe, the special measures will be implemented gradually. From 6:10 PM, the facilities will be open exclusively for passengers exiting the station, with no entry allowed.
Despite these entry limitations, public transport services will remain operational. Within the Cercanías network, passengers will be able to transfer between lines C-3 and C-4, which will run their regular service.
Meanwhile, the Metro service will ensure connections between lines 1, 2, and 3, allowing passenger transit through the station despite the closure of street-level entrances.
