The initiative aims to spark curiosity, foster knowledge, and bring the mysteries of science closer to residents of all ages through exhibitions, scientific outreach, music, and educational activities.
The program will begin on November 3rd with the inauguration of the exhibition ‘Papyri of Ani and Evolution of Medicine in Ancient Egypt’ at the Gabriel Celaya Cultural Center, open until November 20th. A guided tour will take place on opening day at 7 PM.
On November 15th, at 12 PM, the same cultural center will host the audiovisual educational concert ‘Lighthouses in the Cosmic Night’, a fusion of science, astronomy, and live music featuring Tobías F. Borkel and Telmo Fernández.
The 5th Minerals Fair will take place on November 21st and 22nd at the Federico García Lorca Municipal Theater. The event will gather collectors and enthusiasts, and will include complementary exhibitions: ‘Looking Through the Microscope. From the Smallest to the Largest’ and ‘Young Paleontologist's Corner. The Dinosaurs’.
Additionally, on Sunday, November 22nd, at 12 PM, the Federico García Lorca Theater will host the conference ‘How to Collect Minerals’ by Jonathan Carral.
The program concludes with two astronomical observation sessions: a nighttime telescope observation on Friday, November 27th, at 9 PM at the Paseo de los Chopos, and a solar observation session on Saturday, November 28th, from 12 PM to 2 PM in Plaza de España.
