Paracuellos de Jarama Unveils 2026 Local Festival Program

The celebrations, taking place from May 22nd to 27th, will feature concerts, children's activities, bullfighting events, and traditional gatherings.

The Paracuellos de Jarama City Council has announced the program for its 2026 Local Festivals, which will run from May 22nd to 27th, offering a diverse range of activities for all ages.

The fairgrounds will once again be located on the Paseo de las Camelias, between Avenida de Juan Pablo II and Avenida de los Hoyos. The opening speech is scheduled for Saturday, May 23rd, at 6:45 PM, in the Plaza de la Constitución, and will be delivered by the town's local clubs.
Musically, the group Seguridad Social will perform a free concert on Friday, May 22nd, at 10:30 PM, on the stage at Paseo de las Camelias. On Saturday, May 23rd, at the same location and time, Éxtasis will perform, while Makaú will take the stage on Sunday, May 24th, in the Plaza de la Constitución at 8:00 PM.
Children's activities will be a highlight, with bull runs and games on Saturday in the Plaza de la Constitución, in addition to a pre-coronation show at 5:30 PM and a subsequent parade of floats and clubs with a brass band. On Sunday, May 24th, at 12:30 PM, a children's musical will be held on the Paseo de las Camelias, where there will also be inflatable castles and activities on Monday and Tuesday from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
As a new feature, on Tuesday, May 26th, at 12:00 PM, a canine unit exhibition by the Local Police will take place in the bullring. Another prominent event will be the fireworks display on Saturday, May 23rd, at 12:00 AM, on the Paseo de las Camelias, next to the fairgrounds.
The gastronomic program includes a popular paella on Saturday, May 23rd, at 2:30 PM in the Plaza de la Constitución, and a caldereta on Monday at the same time on the Paseo de las Camelias. Bullfighting events will feature a nocturnal cattle release on the night of May 25th to 26th, starting at 12:45 AM, and three becerradas on May 25th and 26th at 6:00 PM, and on the 27th at 5:30 PM, in the bullring.
The festivities will also honor the Cristo de la Salud on Sunday, May 24th, at 10:30 PM; the Virgen de la Ribera on Monday, May 25th, at 12:00 PM; and San Nicolás de Bari on Tuesday, May 26th, at 12:00 PM, with their traditional processions and solemn masses.
