The request follows a communication received on Tuesday, November 3rd, from the Southeast Care Directorate of the Community of Madrid, which informed about the Health Center's operations. According to the note, from November 3rd at 5:30 PM onwards, the center would maintain its activity with the nursing team, pediatrics group, and administration, and staff would inform and coordinate necessary assistance for non-deferrable needs.
This measure adds to existing deficiencies in patient care, including weeks-long delays for family doctor appointments, waits of up to a year for rehabilitation services, and the absence of pediatricians in the afternoons, a problem shared with Velilla de San Antonio.
The mayor had previously requested a similar meeting on May 25th from the general director of care for the Community of Madrid, but had not received a response to date.
