This initiative seeks to provide a solution for families with school-aged children who do not have classes during the Local Holidays, but whose parents must continue working. The camp will take place at the Navas de Tolosa school and is designed for students from the 2nd cycle of Early Childhood Education to 6th grade of Primary School.
Two attendance options are offered to suit each family's needs. One option is from 9:00 to 16:30, including lunch, for 14.85 euros per day. The other, from 7:30 to 16:30, includes breakfast and lunch, at a cost of 17.20 euros daily. Both allow for independent day contracting, and payment will be made via direct debit.
The number of places is limited: a maximum of 60 per day, so it is advisable not to wait until the last minute to register.
The registration period began on Monday, April 27 at 9:00 AM and will end on May 8. Applications must be sent to educacion@paracuellosdejarama.es. It is crucial to attach the required documentation, especially employment certificates from both parents or legal guardians proving they work during those days, as this will determine priority in place allocation.
Place allocation is not based on a first-come, first-served basis, but on reconciliation needs. Priority will be given to families where both parents or legal guardians work and do not have free days available. If the number of applications exceeds the available places, a public draw will be held, allocating places alphabetically starting from a drawn letter.
This camp is financially supported by the Paracuellos de Jarama City Council and the Community of Madrid, allowing it to offer a service at an affordable cost for participants. For more information, families can contact the Department of Education via email or by calling 91 658 00 01.
