The incident occurred shortly after 9:00 AM. Following the impact, one of the drivers became trapped inside the vehicle, requiring the intervention of the Community of Madrid Fire Department to perform an extraction.
Medical personnel from SUMMA stabilized the victim, who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. The patient was then transported by helicopter to the 12 de Octubre Hospital for specialized care.
The Civil Guard has launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding the accident.
