The Civil Guard has dismantled a group of minors who allegedly committed violent snatch-and-grab robberies against elderly women in central areas of Arganda del Rey.

The Civil Guard has arrested two minors and investigated two others in Arganda del Rey for their alleged involvement in several violent robberies committed using the snatch-and-grab method. The operation is part of a special initiative to identify and apprehend the perpetrators of at least five robberies that had been occurring since March.
The individuals involved selected their victims in central areas of the town, all of whom were elderly women wearing gold chains. The minors typically wore dark, hooded clothing and, after committing the robberies, fled using public transport to avoid detection.
Throughout this week, officers concluded the operation by arresting two of the alleged perpetrators and investigating two others, all of whom are male minors. The detained and investigated individuals have already been brought before the competent judicial authority.
