The Civil Guard has arrested two minors and is investigating two others for their alleged involvement in at least five violent robberies targeting elderly women in Arganda del Rey since March.

The arrests occurred last week and are linked to a series of assaults in which the minors used the method known as “tirón” (snatch-and-run). According to the investigation, the individuals, who wore dark hooded clothing, selected their victims in central areas of the municipality, targeting elderly women wearing gold chains around their necks.
After the robberies, the alleged perpetrators would flee using public transport to hinder their location and arrest by law enforcement agencies.
