Officers from the Guardia Civil have arrested two minors and are investigating two others for their alleged involvement in five violent robberies in Arganda del Rey.

The incidents, which have been occurring since last March, involved the theft of gold chains from elderly women. The perpetrators targeted their victims in central areas of the town and, after committing the crime using the snatch-theft method, fled using public transport.
The investigation conducted by the Guardia Civil led to the identification of the alleged perpetrators, resulting in the arrests made last week. Following the operation, those involved have been placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority to continue with the corresponding legal proceedings.
