The urban route of the cycling event will require the Southern Command of the local police to deploy officers along the entire route to facilitate the development of the competition and traffic mobility in the city.
The special mobility plan will begin at 08:00 AM on Wednesday, July 8th, and will remain in effect until approximately 08:00 PM, the scheduled end time of the event. Traffic movements will be restored thereafter.
The neutralized start is scheduled for 3:25 PM and will include streets such as Calle Colegios, Gta. Aguadores, Paseo de Aguadores, Ronda Henares, and the M-300, among other points on the route.
As an alternative for private traffic, the use of the A-2 and its city links is recommended. However, public transport is advised as the most efficient option for getting around the city during the event.
Preparations for the event will begin on Tuesday, July 8th, at 8:00 AM with the evacuation of vehicles from the affected routes. Parking in the marked streets is discouraged.
On Tuesday, July 8th, at 8:00 AM, parking will be prohibited on CALLE SANTA URSULA.
Several urban and interurban bus lines will experience alterations to their usual routes due to the cycling stage.
The Local Police of Alcalá de Henares requests the cooperation of citizens to avoid car travel in the area affected by the race and asks for respect for the signage and established rules to ensure the smooth running of the event.
