The House of Culture in Torrejón de Ardoz has become a showcase for local talent with the end-of-year exhibition of the municipality's plastic and artistic workshops. The exhibition features a diverse collection of works created by students throughout the year.
Visitors can admire creations from workshops such as ‘Cutting and Sewing’, ‘Drawing and Painting’, ‘Ceramics’, ‘Bobbin Lace’, ‘Patchwork’, ‘Crafts’, ‘Crochet’, and ‘Resin’. These educational activities involve 280 participants of various ages, who have expressed their creativity in the displayed pieces.
The inauguration, held last Friday, was attended by students, teachers, the mayor, Alejandro Navarro Prieto, and the Councillor for Culture, José Antonio Moreno. Both officials toured the exhibition, highlighting the quality and effort of the participants.
“"The enormous talent and involvement of all the people who are part of these workshops, which every year turn the House of Culture into a meeting point for talent and creativity."
The exhibition will be open to the public until May 31st. Visiting hours are Monday to Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, while on Sundays, the hours will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
