The summer pool in San Fernando de Henares will open its doors on June 20th, offering residents a summer leisure space until September 6th following repairs.

After being severely affected by the historic floods of the Jarama river last summer, the summer pool in San Fernando de Henares is resuming operations and will open to the public on June 20th. Residents will be able to enjoy the facilities until September 6th.
The recovery work at the Justo Gómez Municipal Sports Center, which began in April 2025, is progressing as planned. The City Council has announced that final details are being completed for the summer season. The most significant interventions included the comprehensive renovation of the hydraulic and electrical systems, which were rendered inoperable by the floods, as well as improvements to the water pumping, distribution, and purification equipment.
The pool will operate seven days a week, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Ticket prices vary for residents and non-residents, with reduced rates for children and seniors over 65.
For residents, general admission will be 5.10 euros for adults and 3.15 euros for children and seniors over 65. Non-residents will pay 7.10 and 5.15 euros, respectively. 20-use passes and season tickets have also been established with different prices for both groups.
Holders of the Bono Deporte will have free access, and tickets will receive a 50% discount from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Ticket sales will be conducted online through the sports department's platform.
