At the Local Government Board meeting held on March 12, 2025, important modifications were initially approved. These include the modification of the Sector SUPI-5 Partial Plan of the PGOU, the urbanistic interpretation for transforming ground-floor commercial premises into residential use in multi-family buildings, and the proposal for the subscription and approval of the initial text of the Urban Planning Agreement for Reparcelling for Execution Unit 13.
Furthermore, the first modification of the Sector SUE[1]PC “Las Castellanas“ Partial Plan of the PGOU was greenlit. Progress was also made in infrastructure planning with the initial approval of the SUNP-2 Sectorization Plan, Las Traviesas, as well as the Special Infrastructure Plan for the concretization of the alignment of sub-section 3 of the west section of the Southern Ring Road of Torrejón de Ardoz.
Public information has also been a central focus, with the initial approval of the SUNP-2 Sectorization Plan and the release of details about the General Urban Planning Plan (PGOU), including maps and plans. Municipal policies and programs related to the environment, environmental impact studies, and current urban planning agreements have also been shared.
In terms of transport infrastructure, the latest reports from the Community of Madrid prior to the opening of Metro Line 7B are mentioned, including analyses of the environment around the pumping station on Calle Rafael Alberti.
Other approved items include the bases for the Fairground Installations and the Municipal Land Inventory. The definitive approval of the Special Plan for Public Infrastructure Networks for the 132 KV power line supplying ST Henares and the public information for the reparceling project of UG-15.1 are also among the updates.
