The Community of Madrid will allocate up to 100,000 euros per home to repair the damage caused by the major fire in the Sierra Oeste last summer, with a total budget of 8 million euros.

The Governing Council has authorized these subsidies, which will cover up to 80% of repair and rehabilitation costs. The measure is aimed at individuals whose habitual residence was damaged by the fire, with the goal of restoring the necessary conditions for them to inhabit it again and facilitate their continued residence in their home municipalities.
The aid will finance rehabilitation work on structures, facades, enclosures, finishes, and building installations. To access them, homes must have the corresponding administrative authorization.
These grants will be awarded directly due to public, social, and humanitarian interest arising from the emergency caused by the fire.
