The Plaza de Cervantes will host this Saturday, July 18, the third edition of ‘La Plaza’, from the chamber opera festival ‘Ópera a quemarropa’, promoted by the Community of Madrid.

Artists from singing, performance, musical interpretation, and composition will collaborate to create a unique stage piece, designed for an unconventional space with a stage surrounded by the audience. This creative process will take place during a residency at the Centro Cultural Paco Rabal.
The promoting platform aims to boost contemporary chamber opera in Spanish, eliminating traditional space barriers and offering an intimate and exciting experience, without filters or solemnity.
The project returns with a focus on emerging artists, alternative spaces, and contemporary scenic language. As in previous editions, it will feature the collaboration of the Escuela Superior de Canto.
The event will take place on Saturday, July 18, at 9 PM in the Plaza de Cervantes, as part of the chamber opera festival of the Community of Madrid.
