The countdown has ended for the 6,051 students who will face the University Entrance Exam (PAU) at the University of Alcalá. The exams will run from June 1st to 4th, mobilizing young people from the Henares and Guadalajara corridors at a decisive moment for their educational careers.
The academic institution has confirmed the enrollment of 6,051 students, of whom 5,595 come from Baccalaureate programs and 456 from vocational training cycles. The Guadalajara Campus will host 1,559 students, while the rest will be distributed among the various faculties and centers of the Scientific-Technological Campus of Alcalá de Henares.
For four days, university classrooms will transform into exam halls where nerves, last-minute notes, and calculators will take center stage. The PAU once again becomes one of the most significant academic events of the Complutense spring.
Students will be assigned to different university buildings based on their originating schools. In Alcalá de Henares, the exams will be held in the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Environmental Sciences, Nursing, and Physiotherapy, as well as the Superior Polytechnic School. In Guadalajara, the venues will be the Multidisciplinary Building and the Faculty of Education.
The results will be published on June 11th starting at 12:00 PM, a key date for the applicants. Following this, the pre-registration and place allocation process for the 2026-2027 academic year will commence.
The University of Alcalá will offer over 3,800 places for the upcoming academic year, solidifying its position as a leading academic institution in central Spain.
For those who do not achieve their goals in this first call, the UAH reminds them that there will be a second opportunity. The extraordinary PAU session is scheduled for June 30th and July 1st and 2nd.
Among the academic novelties for the next academic year is the launch of the new Degree in Spanish Industries and Cultures, a joint program with the University of Granada. This degree aims to train specialists in the Spanish language, cultural heritage, communication, and international projection of Spanish, expanding the UAH's offerings in an area closely linked to the city's historical identity, internationally recognized as the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes.
Meanwhile, for the thousands of students who will occupy university classrooms starting Monday, the immediate goal is much more concrete: to successfully pass the exams that open the door to their dream university career, in an event that once again becomes the main protagonist of early June in Alcalá de Henares.
