The vehicle, approximately 4.06 meters long, is designed for daily use, making it ideal for city driving without compromising interior spaciousness. Bonilla noted that its habitability is comparable to that of higher-segment models, offering versatility for both urban commutes and longer journeys.
In terms of design, the KIA EV2 features a modern and futuristic aesthetic, characteristic of the brand's new generation of electric vehicles. The interior is also a strong point, with a higher level of equipment than typically found in its segment, even in the entry-level version, which includes advanced safety systems such as blind-spot monitoring, emergency braking, and parking sensors.
Manufactured in Europe, the EV2 offers two battery options: 42.2 kWh and 61.0 kWh, with estimated ranges of up to 317 kilometers and 453 kilometers respectively. Its 400-volt architecture allows for fast charging from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes, and it also supports AC charging up to 11 kW.
The model incorporates the ccNC infotainment system with a triple screen, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Its optimized interior design, featuring sliding rear seats, allows for a trunk capacity of up to 400 liters, maximizing versatility and on-board comfort.
