The discovery was made thanks to citizen collaboration, as a witness provided a photograph of the vehicle involved in the illicit dumping. Local Police officers documented the incident and have initiated the corresponding sanctioning procedure.
The Coslada City Council's Department of Environment will process the file, which could result in fines of up to 600 euros for those responsible, in addition to the cleaning costs to be borne by municipal services.
This action is part of the continuous surveillance efforts undertaken by the Local Police to prevent and penalize violations of the municipality's environmental ordinances.
The City Council reminds citizens that the Coslada Clean Point, located on Coberteras street itself, is the appropriate facility for disposing of construction waste and other materials. Additionally, a home collection service for bulky items and a Mobile Clean Point that travels through the neighborhoods are available to facilitate proper waste management.
