The Coslada City Council has launched its summer program for June and July, focusing on promoting active aging and community participation.

The initiative, promoted by the Department of Social Services and Seniors, aims to improve the physical and emotional well-being of residents. Through the Municipal Senior Centers, the council offers activities that foster personal autonomy and help prevent social isolation.
The Vacaciones Urbanas 2026 program includes a variety of disciplines such as Ritmo Gym, Latin Dances, Morning Walks, and Digital Skills workshops. Additionally, memory and psychomotricity sessions have been organized to stimulate participants' cognitive abilities.
Among the highlights is the nutrition workshop Between Recipes and Care, designed for men, which combines culinary learning with reflection on co-responsibility. Furthermore, the Los Sentidos Therapeutic Garden will host activities like Summer Between Generations, where seniors and children will share planting tasks and cooperative games.

"We want to continue creating opportunities for seniors to maintain their autonomy, strengthen their social networks, and continue participating actively in community life."
