The Department of Territorial Policy continues to develop the Paving and Signage Renovation Plan, which prioritizes the rehabilitation of deteriorated roadways. Current interventions are concentrated in high-traffic areas.
This week, from Monday until the 14th, milling and paving work will be carried out on Isabel Torres Avenue (paving only) and España Avenue, specifically in the section of Glorieta Primero de Mayo.
Likewise, the works will include interventions in Glorieta de Los Pueblos, Glorieta Primero de Mayo, Honduras Street, Madrid Avenue, Glorieta Mujer de Coslada, and Glorieta José Gárate Avenue-Venezuela Street. To minimize inconvenience to citizens, these works will be carried out at night, starting at 8:00 PM.
This project, which has already covered areas such as El Esparragal, La Colina, Honduras and Uruguay streets, Plaza de la Hispanidad, and the Coslada San Fernando RENFE station parking lot, has an investment exceeding two million euros. Its main objective is to optimize the condition of the most affected roads in both residential areas and crucial circulation points.
Furthermore, an additional allocation of over four million euros has been announced for after the summer, intended for a new Paving Plan that will benefit most of the city's streets, reinforcing the commitment to improving road infrastructure.
