The city of Coslada is preparing for its annual festivals, scheduled from June 11 to June 15. This year's program promises a wide array of activities, ranging from concerts by renowned artists to urban culture proposals, popular events, and activities for children and local clubs (peñas).
The official opening will be marked on June 12 at 8:30 PM with a ceremonial speech delivered by Nacho Díaz, a film makeup artist and multiple Goya Award winner. According to the mayor, Ángel Viveros, attendees at the opening ceremony will receive a commemorative bandana as a novelty. The organization has set up three main stages to host the various performances.
One of the main stages will be located at the La Vía football field, featuring performances by artists such as Isabel Aaiún, Nil Moliner, and Los 40 Sessions. To manage capacity, attendees will need to purchase tickets priced at 5.50 euros.
Also at La Vía, the ‘Rebelion! Festival’ will take place, targeting a younger audience with urban artists, DJs, and new musical trends. This event will showcase names like Aissa, Reality, and C Martí, alongside over fifteen artists throughout the day. Tickets can be purchased at [www.byrebelion.com](http://www.byrebelion.com/).
The fairgrounds will serve as the daily meeting point for the festivities. Over five days, it will host orchestras, tribute bands, popular music, DJs, club activities, and continuous performances, including highlights like Jamaica Show, the Orquesta Princesa, and an Extremoduro tribute by ‘Dextremo’.
Throughout the celebrations, local clubs (peñas) will play a prominent role with their own dedicated zone, featuring programming, DJs, children's activities, and social spaces for residents and visitors. Additionally, the festival program includes family-oriented activities distributed across various neighborhoods, such as inflatable parks, water activities, and leisure areas designed for younger children.
Mayor Ángel Viveros stated that this program aims to consolidate one of the most balanced festive models in the Henares Corridor, emphasizing that Coslada's festivals seek to be recognizable and diverse, rather than the largest. The delegate councilor for Festivals, Emi Escudero, added that Coslada's model combines contemporary music, popular culture, coexistence, and participation, offering a program that appeals to diverse audiences and explains the city's identity.
