The Community of Madrid Firefighters have managed to control a fire that broke out on Sunday night in an industrial warehouse in San Fernando de Henares, used for storing pool parts and chemicals.

The blaze began around 11:30 PM in a warehouse of approximately 4,800 square meters, located on Avenida de Castilla, within the town's industrial estate. The flames spread extensively, even breaking through the roof.
Inside the warehouse, various pool products, including chlorine, as well as plumbing spare parts, were stored. The magnitude of the fire necessitated the deployment of 14 units from the Community of Madrid Fire Department.

The flames were brought under control by 3:30 AM, although four units remain on site to complete the extinguishing and cooling operations.

Thanks to the swift action of the emergency teams, the fire was prevented from spreading to adjacent warehouses, containing the flames within the affected plot. Fortunately, no injuries or affected individuals have been reported from the incident.
The causes that initiated the fire are currently unknown and will be subject to investigation.
