Parakarate continues to bring joy to the sports scene in Torrejón de Ardoz. A member of the Club Karate Torrejón de Ardoz Tomás Herrero has been crowned runner-up in Spain in the K40 physical disability veterans category.
The competition, which took place in La Nucía (Alicante), brought together the country's most outstanding karatekas in this modality. The local athlete earned the silver medal in this discipline, designed for people with functional diversity.
This achievement marks his second high-level medal in 2026, having previously been crowned champion in February at a National Karate League event held in Torrejón de Ardoz.
