The Local Police of Torrejón de Ardoz has arrested an individual for threatening a pedestrian with a box cutter after a traffic argument, an incident that adds to other recent interventions involving assaults with bladed weapons in the town.

The main incident occurred when a pedestrian crossed the street without noticing the proximity of a vehicle, forcing the driver to brake abruptly. Following a heated argument, the driver pulled out a bladed weapon, a box cutter, and threatened the pedestrian, causing an anxiety attack. The swift intervention by the Local Police led to the aggressor's arrest.
This incident is part of a series of operations carried out by the Local Police of Torrejón de Ardoz in recent months, focused on investigating and apprehending individuals involved in assaults or fights with bladed weapons, as reported by the local City Council this Thursday.
Among other notable interventions, officers acted after being alerted by two men who witnessed and tried to prevent a man from assaulting a woman, allegedly his partner. After getting off a bus, the aggressor grabbed the woman by the neck and pushed her against a shop window. The witnesses managed to restrain him, but during the struggle, the man pulled out a bladed weapon and threatened them, causing both to flee and report the incident to the police. The alleged aggressor was later located and arrested by officers.
Furthermore, the Local Police were called to a gas station after a man appeared with a swollen and bloody face, speaking incoherently. He was taken to a hospital, where he was diagnosed with severe trauma. Among his belongings, a bag containing narcotic substances was found. The subsequent investigation, conducted by the National Police, led to the arrest of a man as the alleged perpetrator of the assault.
In another operation, several individuals were arrested at a bus stop from where they intended to leave the city, after a neighbor reported witnessing a fierce fight among young people. Additionally, two individuals were arrested as alleged perpetrators of a crime of serious threats with a bladed weapon. A man sought refuge in the Abogados de Atocha Multipurpose Center after being threatened with a large bladed weapon by people he knew. With the description provided, officers located and brought the suspects to justice.
