The project has successfully reclaimed a 2,262 square meter plot that was previously unpaved and in a state of neglect. Part of the local neighborhood improvement plan, the site has been transformed into an organized, well-lit, and secure area for local residents.
The new facility includes two spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility and two charging points for electric vehicles. Furthermore, the surrounding area has been enhanced with the planting of 87 trees and the installation of efficient LED street lighting, addressing long-standing requests from neighbors to improve safety.
To improve the visual impact of the site, a mural featuring the Henares River has been painted on one of the side walls. This initiative complements other mobility projects in the city, such as the parking spaces recently provided near Nuestra Señora de Belén.
