Alcalá de Henares Libraries Open in August

Four of the seven municipal facilities will offer lending, reading, and study services in the morning during August.

Four of the seven municipal libraries in Alcalá de Henares will remain open throughout August, offering lending, reading, and study services in the morning.

The municipal library network of Alcalá de Henares will continue to serve users throughout August. Specifically, four of the seven facilities of the Municipal Library Service will remain open in the morning during this month.
The libraries offering service are Cardenal Cisneros, located in the Historic Center; Rosa Chacel, near the bridge on Meco avenue; Rafael Alberti, in the Nueva Alcalá neighborhood; and José Chacón, in the El Val neighborhood. All of them will open in the morning, from Monday to Friday, from 8:15 AM to 1:45 PM.
This service will be available for lending, reading, and study from Monday, August 3rd, to Wednesday, September 2nd. Subsequently, from Thursday, September 3rd, to Tuesday, September 15th, different hours will apply at the facilities.
During this second period, the Cardenal Cisneros Library will extend its hours from 8:40 AM to 7:45 PM, Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays from 10:10 AM to 1:50 PM. The Pío Baroja libraries (El Chorrillo area), María Moliner (Reyes Católicos neighborhood), Rosa Chacel, Rafael Alberti, and José Chacón will offer service in the afternoon, from 2:35 PM to 7:55 PM. The La Galatea room, in Espartales, will join this schedule starting Monday, September 7th.
