The Alcalá de Henares City Council, through its departments of Family, Childhood and Youth and Health, has unveiled the new youth leisure agenda for the Redes para el Tiempo Libre Otra Forma de Moverte program, featuring activities for May, June, and July.

Under the slogan 'Choose your mood, find your plan,' the initiative aims to motivate young people to enjoy their free time productively, exploring various entertainment and personal development options. The full program is available on the official website.
During May, the agenda includes prominent events such as Comic Book Day on May 9, with activities like character development, story creation, Cosplay contests, and anime cinema. Additionally, May 16 will feature the White Night, a participatory cultural event that will transform the city. On May 23, Cervanfriki 2026 will take place, a day dedicated to 'Geek Pride' with workshops, tournaments, and dynamics at the FIA Center. To close the month, on May 30, Plaza de Palacio will host the third edition of KIOSKO! ART FAIR, bringing together over 40 young creators.
June's proposals focus on healthy leisure and connecting with nature. On June 6, young people are invited to care for the city's green spaces with activities like music in nature and cyanotype in the Parque de las Palabras. June 13 will offer diverse options including sports, music, magic, and Latin dance. On June 20, the Capilla del Oidor will host a gong concert for well-being. Finally, on June 27, the Manuel Azaña Auditorium will host the NEXT GEN – BATTLE OF YOUTH BANDS, an opportunity for musical groups to showcase their talent.
The quarter will conclude with the SUMMER DIJ SESSION at the FIA Center, a meeting point with musical selections from local DJs, Fingerboard tournaments, and recreational activities such as water gun fights and foam cannons. Furthermore, continuous activities such as Latin dance, calisthenics, climbing, gaming sessions, urban dance, and boxing will be offered every weekend. The Night Commands will continue their work of prevention and awareness, and the 'Because you are worth it' initiative will promote youth empowerment.
It is expected to surpass the participation of the 8,000 young people who enjoyed the first quarter's agenda, with a wide cultural, sports, recreational, and educational offer designed to foster socialization and healthy use of free time.
