The ceremony, scheduled for 11:00 AM, is part of the Green Ring project, an initiative promoting sustainability, citizen participation, and the enhancement of the natural and cultural environment of Alcalá de Henares. The Alcalá Verde association continues its work of recognizing individuals and entities who have significantly contributed to the city's development and conservation, marking each kilometer point as a symbol of commitment and memory.

During the event, special recognition will be given to Emilio Pacios Bisbal, founder of the Association of Friends of the Complutense Way of St. James, for his invaluable work in the development, promotion, and care of this important cultural and natural route. His contribution has been fundamental in enriching the region's heritage.

The event will be attended by Emilio Pacios Bisbal's family members, institutional representatives from the Alcalá de Henares City Council, and members of collaborating organizations such as Plant for The Planet, along with other entities committed to sustainability and the fight against climate change. The inauguration of Kilometer Point 3 will take place at the Green Ring of Alcalá.
