The works, which have a budget of 445,000 euros, are being carried out in the section between Aguadores roundabout and Juventud Square. This area was in a state of advanced deterioration and handles high traffic density.
The main objective of the intervention is to facilitate pedestrian movement and improve the connection between this neighborhood and the Historic Center. In addition to asphalt renewal, the expansion of pedestrian spaces aims to boost local commerce in the area.
Due to the scale of the works, temporary changes to vehicle traffic have been implemented. This project complements other mobility interventions on Paseo de la Alameda and surrounding streets such as Gonzalo de Berceo, Andrea Doria, and Almería, which have an additional investment of 290,000 euros.
