The Alcalá de Henares City Council has implemented an emergency plan to ensure water supply to the population, following an incident in the general supply system affecting the city.

The first water deliveries to residents have already taken place on Francisco de Vitoria Street and at the Pablo Picasso school. This plan aims to cover the essential needs of citizens in the coming hours.
Additionally, Canal de Isabel II has provided tanker trucks that will be located in the District II, III, IV, and V Municipal Boards. The council has asked residents to bring their own containers and to wait for official confirmation of the vehicles' arrival to avoid unnecessary crowds.
Furthermore, bottled water distribution has been reinforced with a truck carrying 10 pallets of water bottles (800 units of 5 liters) and two additional vans with another 6 pallets, which will expand coverage in the affected neighborhoods.
Priority in supply has been given to health centers, nursing homes, educational centers, and kindergartens, ensuring care for the city's most vulnerable groups. The City Council has pledged to keep citizens informed of any developments through its official channels.
