Following the meeting, various preventive measures have been established to mitigate the impact on citizens. Among these, water supply will be reinforced using tankers. Six tankers and four tractor units will be available, allowing for simultaneous operation of four units, each with an approximate capacity of 15 m³.
These tankers, provided by Canal de Isabel II, will be strategically located at the municipal district offices of districts II, III, and IV. Residents will need to bring their own containers to collect water. The City Council has asked citizens not to go to these points until the arrival of the tanker trucks is confirmed.
Additionally, bottled water distribution will be organized. A truck will transport ten pallets of water bottles, each with 80 five-liter units. This shipment will be supplemented by two additional vans, carrying a total of six pallets. District I will receive its bottled water supply, with distribution managed from its municipal office.
The City Council requests maximum cooperation from citizens, responsible water use, and attention to official information channels.
Supply priority will focus on essential centers such as healthcare facilities, residences, educational centers, and nurseries. Regarding municipal facilities, public sports centers will not be able to use showers or water-related services this afternoon. Clubs and users have been advised to postpone any scheduled sports activities.
The City Council is coordinating operations with the involved organizations and will adjust resource deployment according to the evolving situation, urging the population to use water responsibly and stay informed through official channels.
