The incident, which occurred between kilometers 28 and 29 of the highway, did not result in any injuries, as confirmed by the 112 emergency service of the Community of Madrid. Despite no reported injuries, the event caused considerable disruption to traffic flow.
The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) reported, shortly after 8:03 PM, the closure of both the right and central lanes at kilometer 29. This measure was implemented to manage the situation and allow emergency services to respond.
Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the accident site to address the incident and work towards restoring normal traffic conditions on the road, which experienced delays due to the resulting congestion.
