The incident occurred this Thursday on the Zulema road in Alcalá de Henares. The 74-year-old man hit his head on a stone after falling from his bicycle, resulting in a severe head injury and cardiorespiratory arrest.

Emergency services were notified at 5:00 PM. A witness at the scene began resuscitation efforts before the arrival of medical teams.

SUMMA paramedics continued with advanced life support, successfully reversing the arrest. The cyclist was then intubated and stabilized at the accident site.

Due to the severity of his injuries, he was airlifted to Hospital 12 de Octubre, where he was admitted in serious condition. The Local Police also assisted at the scene of the accident, which did not involve any other vehicles.
