The Coslada Municipal Theater hosted the awards ceremony for the InfluCeliac 2026 Awards, accolades that recognize the work of establishments, individuals, and institutions in favor of people with celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity. This year's event brought together representatives from across the country to raise awareness of initiatives that improve the quality of life for those following a gluten-free diet.
The Coslada City Council received the Honorary Award, granted by the Board of Directors to projects whose trajectory stands out for their social work, empathy, and commitment to the celiac community. This award was accepted by the councilors responsible for Citizen Participation, Elena Lebrato, and Culture, Emi Escudero.
The award highlights the municipal commitment to building a more inclusive and accessible city, addressing aspects such as food accessibility, information, and social awareness, which are fundamental for the autonomy and full participation of individuals with gluten-free diets.
The InfluCeliac Awards, driven by Viviendo Sin Gluten under the creative direction of María Pilar Zurdo, consolidated their reach in this second edition with over a hundred entries and nearly 8,000 votes. The gala featured participation from representatives of 14 Autonomous Communities, more than 50 volunteers, and 27 sponsors.
The awards were distributed across three main categories: Large Consumption, Catering and Commerce, and Content Creation. Among the winners are Galletas Gullón, Arca do Millo, Mononoke, Naturasi, the Hotel Plaza de A Coruña, Exento Sin Gluten, the restaurant As de Bastos, Pasta Balboa, Okashi Sanda, Ardemos, and El Villa México. In content creation, awards went to Helena Osés (Disfrutando Sin Gluten) and Beatriz Titos.
