Agents of the Civil Guard have successfully identified and apprehended two individuals involved in the assault of a man that occurred on March 23 in a square near Cañada Real, in the municipality of Rivas Vaciamadrid. The arrested individuals are charged with homicide and violent robbery.

The victim, after the assault, went on his own to a local health center, where he was treated for multiple head and face injuries. Subsequently, he suffered cardiorespiratory arrest and was urgently transferred to Hospital 12 de Octubre, where he unfortunately passed away three days later due to severe internal and external injuries.

Investigations carried out by the Judicial Police Team of Rivas Vaciamadrid and the Homicide Group of the Organic Unit of Judicial Police of the Madrid Command led to the identification of the alleged perpetrators. After establishing the necessary surveillance, the two individuals were arrested.

As part of the investigation, a search and seizure, authorized by the competent Court, was conducted, during which various objects relevant to the case were seized. The detainees, who have numerous prior records, have been remanded in provisional prison after being brought before the judicial authorities.
