The Civil Guard has arrested two individuals in Rivas Vaciamadrid, accused of homicide and violent robbery, following an assault that resulted in the death of a man days later at Hospital 12 de Octubre.

Civil Guard agents have identified and apprehended two individuals involved in the assault of a man in Rivas Vaciamadrid, which occurred on March 23 in a square near Cañada Real. The victim, who sustained multiple head and facial injuries, sought medical attention at a local health center on his own.
At the health center, the assaulted man suffered cardiorespiratory arrest and was urgently transferred to Hospital 12 de Octubre. Tragically, he passed away three days later due to the severe internal and external injuries he had sustained.
Investigations, conducted by the Rivas Vaciamadrid Judicial Police Team and the Homicide Group of the Organic Unit of Judicial Police of the Madrid Command, led to the identification of the alleged assailants. Following the establishment of relevant operations, the two individuals were arrested for homicide and violent robbery.
Furthermore, through a judicially authorized search and entry, various items related to the case were seized. The two detainees, who had numerous prior records, have been remanded in provisional prison after being brought before the court, as reported by the Civil Guard this Tuesday.
