The incident occurred last Sunday afternoon at kilometer 3.100 of the M-118. Two cars were involved in the crash, one of which overturned and ended up on its roof, according to reports from the 112 of the Community of Madrid.
As a result of the impact, all three occupants of the vehicles sustained injuries. A 20-year-old man was the most severely affected, suffering a fractured pelvis. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, he was airlifted by SUMMA emergency services.
The other two individuals involved, males aged 19 and 21, also required medical attention and were transported to a hospital by SUMMA, with a potentially serious prognosis.
Firefighters from the Community of Madrid responded to the scene to assist in extricating the injured, secure the accident area, and clear the roadway. The Guardia Civil has launched an investigation to determine the exact causes of the incident.
