Alcalá de Henares Opens Registration for 2026 Golden Wedding Anniversary Tribute

Couples celebrating 50 years of marriage in 2026 and residing in Alcalá de Henares can register until May 7, 2026.

The Alcalá de Henares City Council has opened the registration period for the traditional tribute to couples celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 2026, an event scheduled for October 2 at the Teatro Salón Cervantes.

Couples interested in participating in this emotional ceremony must have married in 1976 and be celebrating 50 years of marriage during 2026. Additionally, it is a mandatory requirement to be registered in Alcalá de Henares for at least 12 months prior to the start of the application period.

This tribute is a very special and emotional event.

The Councilor for Seniors, Esther de Andrés, has extended an invitation to all couples reaching this significant milestone to join the celebration, which is part of the Senior Citizens' Week program.
The registration period will remain open until May 7, 2026. Interested parties can submit their application in person at the General Registry of the City Council or at the District Boards, by appointment, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It is also possible to complete the process through the municipal Electronic Headquarters, in the section corresponding to the Seniors area.
To formalize registration, couples must attach the application form and image usage authorization, both signed by both spouses. The National Identity Document of both, the Family Book (specifically the marriage page), and three original wedding photographs for digitization will also be required. The necessary forms are available for online download or can be collected at municipal offices.
As part of the organization, an informational meeting has been scheduled for June 18 at 11:00 AM in the District II Municipal Board Hall, where all details regarding the event's development will be provided.
