The Mejorada del Campo City Council, through the Mancomunidad de Servicios Sociales, has launched a call for aid to improve the habitability of homes for seniors, dependents, or people with disabilities, with a deadline until April 24.

These grants aim to transform homes by eliminating architectural barriers, facilitating internal communication, ensuring basic health and hygiene conditions, increasing domestic safety, and enhancing personal autonomy through technical aids.
Residents of Mejorada del Campo over 65 years old, as well as those under that age with a recognized degree of dependency or a disability equal to or greater than 33%, are eligible to benefit from these aids.
Among the essential requirements, applicants must be registered in Mejorada del Campo and comply with the established income limits: 200% of the IPREM for individuals living alone and 150% for those living with others. Additionally, applicants must not have received this same aid in previous calls.
Applications can be submitted until April 24. Interested parties have the option to do so in person at Social Services, located at Plaza del Progreso, 2, or electronically through the municipal e-headquarters.
