The Community of Madrid has announced an investment exceeding 300,000 euros to enhance infrastructure and services in the municipalities of Pelayos de la Presa and Chapinería, utilizing funds from the Municipal Works and Services Cooperation Plan and the Regional Investment Program (PIR).

This funding will enable the covering of the padel court at the municipal sports center in Pelayos de la Presa and the purchase of two new vehicles for the Chapinería Town Council. The Deputy Minister of Presidency and Local Administration, José Antonio Sánchez, visited both locations on Tuesday to oversee the progress of these projects firsthand.
In Pelayos de la Presa, the intervention focuses on installing a covered metallic structure for the padel court, which will also incorporate lighting and water drainage systems, ensuring its usability throughout the year and in various weather conditions.
Meanwhile, Chapinería will receive two essential vehicles for municipal management: one for street cleaning, equipped with sweeping and vacuuming functions, and another for urban maintenance tasks, facilitating the transport of personnel, tools, and materials necessary for the town's daily operations.
