The Tres Cantos City Council has completed the renovation of the paving on the three padel courts at the La Luz Sports Center, replacing the old turf with a state-of-the-art material to improve user safety and experience.

This initiative, fully funded by municipal resources, aims to optimize playing conditions for the thousands of residents who use these sports facilities annually. Padel is a sport with deep roots in Spain, and Tres Cantos is no exception, highlighting the importance of maintaining infrastructure in optimal condition.
The intervention involved the complete removal of the deteriorated paving, which was properly managed, before installing the new material. The chosen turf is the Monofilamento STX Verde model from the MONDO brand, known for its wear resistance, uniform texture, and superior technical performance, ensuring a more stable and safer playing surface.

"This action is part of the City Council's commitment to the maintenance and modernization of our sports facilities. We want residents to enjoy spaces in the best possible conditions and with safe, quality playing surfaces."

Eduardo Lorca · Sports Councilor of Tres Cantos City Council
